فروش عاریهای باز، تعداد سهامی است که بهصورت استقراضی فروخته شده و هنوز معوق است. بهطور معمول، معاملهگران هنگامیکه انتظار دارند قیمت سهام کاهش یابد، با قرض گرفتن سهام از کارگزار خود، اوراق بهادار را بهصورت استقراضی میفروشند. سپس سرمایهگذار این سهام قرض گرفته شده را به خریدارانی میفروشد که مایل به پرداخت بر مبنای قیمت بازار هستند.
Short Interest
Short interest is the number of shares that have been sold short and are still outstanding. Traders typically sell a security short by borrowing shares of the stock from their broker when they anticipate that the share price will decline. The investor then sells these borrowed shares to buyers willing to pay the market price.
