اوراق بهادار بدون پشتوانه
بهادار بدون پشتوانه، نامی است که توسط کمیسیون بورس و اوراق بهادار ایالات متحده داده شده است به این معنی که کارگزار نیازی به گزارش مبنای هزینه آن اوراق بهادار به سازمان مالیاتی آمریکا ندارد. مبنای هزینه تعدیل شده اوراق بهادار بدون پشتوانه، فقط به مالیات دهندگان نه به سازمان مالیاتی آمریکا، گزارش میشود. اوراق بهادار بدون پشتوانه به طور معمول کوچک و از نظر دامنه محدود هستند.
Non-Covered Security
A non-covered security is a designation given by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) which means a brokerage is not required to report the cost basis of that security to the IRS. The adjusted cost basis of non-covered securities is only reported to the taxpayer, not to the IRS. Non-covered securities are generally small and limited in scope.
