گزارش کمتر از واقع (گزارش کمینه)
گزارش کمتر از واقع، اصطلاحی برای توصیف این جرم است که به عمد، درآمد یا عایدی را کمتر از آنچه گزارش میکند که در واقع دریافت شده است. شرکتها و افراد بهطور عمده درآمدهای خود را کمتر از واقع گزارش میکنند تا از بدهیهای مالیاتی خود اجتناب کنند یا آن را کاهش دهند.
گزارش کمتر از واقع، جرمی بدون قربانی نیست. در واقع، میلیاردها دلار درآمد ناشی از گزارش کمتر از واقع، منابعی را کاهش میدهد که دولت فدرال برای سرمایهگذاری تامین اجتماعی، مراقبت پزشکی و مجموعهای از برنامههای دیگر به آن متکی است.
Under Reporting
Under reporting is a term describing the crime of intentionally reporting less income or revenue than was actually received. Companies and individuals chiefly under report their incomings in an effort to avoid or reduce their respective tax liabilities.
Under reporting is not a victimless crime. In fact, the billions of dollars of tax-loss revenue caused by under reporting reduces the funds the federal government relies on to finance Social Security, Medicare, and a host of other programs.
