شرکت با مسئولیت محدود، یک اصطلاح فرانسوی برای شرکت سهامی عام (با مسئولیت محدود) است و معادلهای بسیار زیادی در سراسر جهان دارد. شرکت محدود (.S.A) معادل شرکت سهامی عام در ایالاتمتحده، شرکت سهامی عام با مسئولیت محدود در بریتانیا، یا یک Aktiengesellschaft (ََAG) در آلمان است.
شرکت با مسئولیت محدود نوعی ساختار کسبوکار است که شرکتی را بهعنوان شخص حقوقی تاسیس میکند که میتواند مالکیت و انتقال اموال خود را داشته باشد، قراردادها را منعقد کند و در قبال جرایم مسئول باشد. برخی از مزایای کلیدی آن این است که مسئولیت شخصی مالکان را در قبال اقدامهای شرکت محدود میکند و تداوم موجودیت اخلاقی بدون وابستگی به موسسان، مالکان یا زندگی سهامداران آن را تضمین میکند.
Société Anonyme (S.A.)
Société anonyme (S.A.) is a French term for a public limited company (PLC) and has many equivalents all over the world. An S.A. is the equivalent of a corporation in the United States, a public limited company in the United Kingdom, or an Aktiengesellschaft (AG) in Germany.
An S.A. is a type of business structure that establishes a company as a legal person that can own and transfer property, enter contracts, and be held liable for crimes. Some of its key benefits are that it limits the owners’ personal liability for the company’s actions and ensures the continuity of the moral entity without any dependence on the founders, owners ,or shareholders' lives.
