سنجشپذیری (مقیاسپذیری)
سنجشپذیری، اشاره به توانایی سازمان برای عملکرد خوب تحت یک بار کاری فزاینده یا در حال گسترش است. سیستمی که بهخوبی قابل سنجش است، قادر خواهد بود سطح عملکرد خود را حفظ کند یا افزایش دهد حتی اگر با تقاضاهای عملیاتی فزاینده محک زده شود.
زمانیکه سنجشپذیری برای موسسهها اعمال شود، اشاره به توانایی مدیریت تقاضاهای افزایش یافته بازار است. یک شرکت قابل سنجش در دنیای شرکتی میتواند حاشیه سود خود را مادامیکه حجم فروش افزایش مییابد، حفظ کند یا بهبود بخشد. این اصطلاح میتواند برای سیستمهایی مانند شبکههای رایانهای نیز اعمال شود.
Scalability
Scalability refers to the ability of an organization to perform well under an increasing or expanding workload. A system that scales well will be able to maintain or increase its level of performance even as it's tested by growing operational demands.
When applied to institutions, scalability refers to the ability to handle increased market demands. A scalable company in the corporate world can maintain or improve its profit margins while sales volume increases. The term can also apply to systems like computer networks.
