پرداخت جنسی (پرداخت غیر نقدی) (PIK)
پرداخت جنسی، استفاده از کالا یا خدمات بهجای وجه نقد برای پرداخت است. پرداخت جنسی همچنین به یک ابزار مالی اطلاق میشود که بهجای وجه نقد، بهره یا سود سهام، به سرمایهگذاران اوراق قرضه، اسناد مالی یا سهام ممتاز با اوراق بهادار یا حقوق صاحبان سهام اضافی پرداخت میکند. پرداخت جنسی با اوراق بهادار برای شرکتهایی جذاب است که ترجیح میدهند هزینههای نقدی ایجاد نکنند و اغلب در خریدهای اهرمی استفاده میشوند.
Payment-in-Kind (PIK)
Payment-in-kind (PIK) is the use of a good or service as payment instead of cash. Payment-in-kind also refers to a financial instrument that pays interest or dividends to investors of bonds, notes, or preferred stock with additional securities or equity instead of cash. Payment-in-kind securities are attractive to companies preferring not to make cash outlays and they are often used in leveraged buyouts.
