پیشنهاد خرید غیر رقابتی، پیشنهادی برای خرید اوراق بهادار خزانه داری ایالات متحده است که توسط سرمایه گذاران غیر نهادی ارائه میشود.این سرمایه گذاران کوچکتر در یک حراج رسمی اوراق بهادار شرکت نمیکند بلکه در عوض قیمت بازار تعیین شده توسط سایر شرکت کنندگان را میپذیرند. در مقابل پیشنهادهای خرید رقابتی پیشنهادهایی هستند که توسط خریداران نهادی بزرگ ارائه میشود که به طور جمعی قیمت اوراق بهادار خزانه داری را از طریق فرایند حراج هلندی تعیین میکنند؛ نوعی حراج که در آن مسئول حراج با قیمت بسیار بالا شروع میکند و به تدریج قیمت را پایین میآورد تا زمانی که فردی پیشنهاد دهد.
Non-Competitive Tender
A non-competitive tender is an offer to buy United States Treasury securities that is made by non-institutional investors. These smaller investors do not participate in a formal auction for the securities but instead accept the market price set by other participants. By contrast, competitive tender offers are those made by large institutional buyers who collectively set the price of Treasury securities through a Dutch auction (a type of auction in which an auctioneer starts with a very high price, incrementally lowering the price until someone places a bid) process.
