طرح حساب بازنشستگی فردی آموزشی، یک حساب سرمایهگذاری با مزیت مالیاتی برای آموزش عالی است که در حال حاضر، بیشتر بهعنوان حساب پسانداز آموزشی کاوردل شناخته میشود. این طرح، حساب پساندازی است که برای هزینه تحصیلی فرزندان استفاده میشود. تحت این ابزار پسانداز آموزشی، والدین و سرپرستان مجاز به پرداخت کمکهای غیر قابل کسر به حساب بازنشستگی فردی آموزشی برای کودکان زیر 18 سال هستند.
Education IRA
An education IRA is a tax-advantaged investment account for higher education, now more formally known as a Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA). It is a savings account used to pay for children's educational expenses. Under this educational savings vehicle, parents and guardians are allowed to make nondeductible contributions to an education individual retirement account (IRA) for a child under the age of 18.
