Deep learning, in which the word “ deep “ means multiple layers in the network, is a part of a broader family of machine learning methods with artificial neural networks with representation learning. Deep learning architectures such as deep neural networks, deep belief networks and etc., have been applied to fields including computer vision, speech recognition and etc., where they have produced results comparable to and in some cases surpassing human expert performance.
