یو دی ای ای پی، کاری غیر قانونی، روشی ناعادلانه یا گمراه کننده یا توهینآمیز برای کسانی است که به مصرفکنندگان محصولات یا خدمات مالی ارائه میدهند. اداره حمایت مالی از مصرفکننده و کمیسیون تجارت فدرال مسئول اطمینان از پیروی این نهادها از قوانین هستند تا از مصرفکنندگان در برابر وامدهندگان و موسسههای مالی ناصادق و بیتوجه به اصول اخلاقی، محافظت شود.
UDAAP
For those who offer financial products or services to consumers, it is illegal to engage in unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices (UDAAP). The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) are responsible for ensuring that these entities follow the rules, so that consumers are protected from unscrupulous lenders and financial institutions.
