قرارداد سرمایهگذاری تضمین شده پنجرهای، نوعی طرح سرمایهگذاری است که در آن، سرمایهگذار مجموعهای از پرداختها را به شرکت بیمه انجام میدهد و بازده سرمایهگذاری را تضمین میکند. این نوع قرارداد سرمایهگذاری تضمین شده (پنجرهای) با سایر قراردادهای سرمایهگذاری تضمینی متفاوت است، زیرا در آن سرمایهگذار اصل پول را بهصورت اقساطی و در طول زمان، نه بهصورت یکجا و از قبل، پرداخت میکند. سرمایهگذاران از قراردادهای سرمایهگذاری تضمین شده پنجرهای با طرحهای (k)401 و سایر طرحهای بازنشستگی با سهم مشخص، استفاده میکنند.
Window Guaranteed Investment Contract
Window guaranteed investment (WGIC) contracts are a type of investment plan in which the investor makes a series of payments to an insurance company and is guaranteed a return on investment. This type of guaranteed investment contract (GIC) differs from other GICs in that the investor makes principal payments in installments over time, rather than in one lump sum up front. Investors use window guaranteed investment contracts with 401(k) plans and other defined contribution pension plans.
