اوراق قرضه جنگی، یک اوراق بهادار بدهی است که برای تامین مالی عملیات نظامی در زمان جنگ یا زد و خورد، توسط دولت منتشر میشود. با توجه بهاینکه اوراق قرضه جنگی نرخ بازده پایینتری نسبت به نرخ بازار ارائه میکردند، با ایجاد جذابیت احساسی برای شهروندان میهنپرست برای قرض دادن پول به دولت، سرمایهگذاری بهدست میآمد.
War Bond
A war bond is a debt security issued by a government to finance military operations during times of war or conflict. Because war bonds offered a rate of return below the market rate, investment was achieved by making emotional appeals to patriotic citizens to lend the government money.
