مالیات بر تنباکو / مالیات بر سیگار
مالیات بر تنباکو یا سیگار، مالیاتی است که توسط سطوح مختلف دولت بر تمام محصولات دخانیات اعمال میشود و اغلب مربوط به هدف بهقول معروف کاهش مصرف تنباکو یا حداقل ایجاد درآمد اختصاص داده شده برای تامین منابع برنامههای خدمات درمانی است. اصطلاحات "مالیات بر تنباکو" و "مالیات بر سیگار" بهجای یکدیگر استفاده میشوند.
Tobacco Tax/Cigarette Tax
A tobacco or cigarette tax is a tax imposed on all tobacco products by various levels of government, often with the alleged goal of reducing tobacco use or at least generating revenues earmarked to fund related healthcare programs. The terms "Tobacco Tax" and "Cigarette Tax" are used interchangeably.
