خالی شدن سبد اوراق بهادار، بهاینمعنی است که داراییهای با مدت محدود با سررسید شدن جایگزین نمیشوند.
هنگامیکه اصل مبلغ سرمایهگذاری شده در اوراق بهادار با درآمد ثابت با سررسید معین بازپرداخت میشود، سرمایهگذار باید تصمیم بگیرد که آیا آن را مجددا سرمایهگذاری بکند یا نه. زمانیکه درآمد حاصل از اوراق قرضه سررسید شده مجددا سرمایهگذاری نشود، میتوان گفت سبد اوراق بهادار در حال خالی شدن است.
Portfolio Runoff
Portfolio runoff means assets with a finite term are not replaced as they mature.
When the principal invested in a fixed-income security with a set maturity is repaid, the investor must decide whether to reinvest it. When the proceeds from matured bonds are not reinvested, a portfolio can be said to be in runoff.
