نقطه فروش (POS)
نقطه فروش، وسیلهای است که خریداران خرد برای پردازش تراکنشها استفاده میکنند. صندوق فروش نوعی نقطه فروش است. صندوق فروش بهطور گستردهای با پایانههای نقطه فروش الکترونیکی جایگزین شده است که میتوانند برای پردازش کارتهای اعتباری و کارتهای نقدی و نیز وجه نقد استفاده شوند.
نقطه فروش میتواند یک وسیله فیزیکی در یک فروشگاه واقعی یا یک نقطه پرداخت در یک فروشگاه مبتنی بر تارنما باشد.
Point of Sale (POS)
A point of sale is a device that is used to process transactions by retail customers. A cash register is a type of POS. The cash register has largely been replaced by electronic POS terminals that can be used to process credit cards and debit cards as well as cash.
A POS may be a physical device in a brick-and-mortar store or a checkout point in a web-based store.
