اصطلاح ان. وی، به مخفف هلندی عبارت Naamloze Vennootschap اشاره دارد که یک شرکت سهامی عام با مسئولیت محدود یا یک شرکت سهامی باز است که به منظور ایجاد درآمد، سهام به مردم میفروشد. مخفف N.V. پس از نام شرکت درج میشود، همان طور که نام شرکتهای آمریکایی و بریتانیایی قبل از کلمات Inc. یا PLC. قرار ميگیرد.
N.V. (Naamloze Vennootschap)
The term N.V. refers to an acronym for the Dutch phrase Naamloze Vennootschap. An N.V. is a public limited liability company or an open corporation that sells shares to the public in order to generate income. The acronym appears after the company name, the same way American and British company names precede the words Inc. or PLC.
