اعتبار مالیاتی غیر قابل استرداد، یک کاهش در میزان مالیات بر درآمد است که یک مالیات دهنده بدهکار است. اعتبار مالیاتی غیر قابل استرداد میتواند مبلغ بدهی را به صفر، نه بیشتر، کاهش دهد. به عبارت دیگر، مالیات دهنده هر اعتباری را از دست دهد که بیش از کل مبلغ بدهی مالیاتی باشد.
Non-Refundable Tax Credit
A nonrefundable tax credit is a reduction in the amount of income taxes that a taxpayer owes. It can reduce the amount owed to zero, but no further. In other words, the taxpayer forfeits any credit that exceeds the total amount of taxes owed.
