سند قابل معامله
سند قابل معامله، سند امضا شده ای است که به شخص واگذار شونده مشخصی وعده پرداخت میدهد. به عبارت دیگر، این سند یک نوع سند رسمی از سند بدهکاری من به شما بدهکارم است: یک سند قابل انتقال و امضا شده که قول میدهد مبلغی را در تاریخ آینده یا برحسب تقاضا به حامل پرداخت کند.
نمونههای رایج اسناد قابل معامله عبارت از چک شخصی، چک صندوق، حواله پول، گواهی سپرده، سفته و چک مسافرتی هستند.
Negotiable Instrument
A negotiable instrument is a signed document that promises a payment to a specified person or assignee. In other words, it is a formalized type of IOU: A transferable, signed document that promises to pay the bearer a sum of money at a future date or on-demand.
Common examples of negotiable instruments include personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, certificates of deposit (CDs), promissory notes, and traveler's checks.
