شاخص ملی میانگین دستمزد (NAWI)
شاخص ملی میانگین دستمزد، معیاری از روند دستمزد در ایالاتمتحده است که توسط اداره تامین اجتماعی به صورت سالانه محاسبه میشود. شاخص ملی میانگین دستمزد به درآمد مشمول مالیات بر درآمد دولت فدرال و کمک ها به طرحهای جبرانی خسارت معوق وابسته است.
اداره تامین اجتماعی اساسا از شاخص ملی میانگین دستمزد برای شاخص گذاری مزایای بازنشستگی و بیمه در ایالاتمتحده استفاده میکند.از این شاخص برای به روز رسانی چند عامل در عملکرد برنامه بیمه سالمندی، بازماندگان و معلولیت استفاده میکند.
National Average Wage Index (NAWI)
The National Average Wage Index (NAWI) is a measure of U.S. wage trends calculated annually by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The NAWI is dependent on income subject to federal income taxes and contributions to deferred compensation plans.
The SSA primarily uses the National Average Wage Index to index retirement and insurance benefits in the United States. It is also used to update several factors in the operation of the Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) program.
