کشیدگی
کشیدگی، یک معیار آماری است که برای توصیف ویژگی یک مجموعه دادهها استفاده میشود. هنگامی که دادههای توزیع شده به طور نرمال بر روی نمودار رسم میشوند، به طور معمول شکل یک زنگوله وارونه را تشکیل میدهند. به این منحنی زنگوله میگویند. دادههای رسم شده که از میانگین دادهها دور تر هستند، به طور معمول دنبالههای هر طرف منحنی را تشکیل میدهند. کشیدگی نشان میدهد چه مقدار دادهها در دنبالهها وجود دارد.
Kurtosis
Kurtosis is a statistical measure used to describe a characteristic of a dataset. When normally distributed data is plotted on a graph, it generally takes the form of an upside down bell. This is called the bell curve. The plotted data that are furthest from the mean of the data usually form the tails on each side of the curve. Kurtosis indicates how much data resides in the tails.
