مالیات کالا و خدمات، یک مالیات بر ارزش افزوده است که از اکثر کالاها و خدمات فروخته شده برای مصرف داخلی گرفته میشود. این مالیات توسط مصرف کنندگان پرداخت میشود اما توسط کسبوکارهایی که کالا میفروشند یا خدمات ارائه میدهند، برای دولت ارسال میشود.
