تعهد بدهی وثیقهشده، محصولی مالی با ساختاری پیچیده و با پشتوانه مجموعهای از وامها و سایر داراییها است و به سرمایهگذاران سازمانی فروخته میشود. تعهد بدهی وثیقهشده یک نوع خاص از ابزار مشتقه است زیرا همانطور که از نام آن پیدا است، ارزش آن از سایر داراییهای پایه گرفته میشود.
