ثابت بودن شرایط دیگر (فرضیه در شرایط مساوی)
ثابت بودن شرایط دیگر، یا به معنای واقعی کلمه "ثابت نگهداشتن سایر عوامل" برگرفته از یک عبارت لاتین است که بهطور معمول معادل آن در زبان انگلیسی "تمام چیزهای دیگر برابر باشد" میشود. یک فرضیه غالب در جریان اصلی تفکر اقتصادی بهعنوان نشانهای مختصر از تاثیر یک متغیر اقتصادی بر دیگری است، مشروط بر اینکه تمام متغیرهای دیگر برابر بمانند.
Ceteris Paribus
Ceteris paribus, literally "holding other things constant," is a Latin phrase that is commonly translated into English as "all else being equal." A dominant assumption in mainstream economic thinking, it acts as a shorthand indication of the effect of one economic variable on another, provided all other variables remain the same.
