نرخ مصرف سرمایه خودی، بهطور معمول برای توصیف نرخی بهکار میرود که یک شرکت جدید، سرمایه پرمخاطره خود را برای تامین هزینههای سربار پیش از ایجاد جریان نقدی مثبت حاصل از عملیات مصرف میکند. این نرخ معیار اندازهگیری زیان نقدی منفی است. معمولا، نرخ مصرف سرمایه خودی بر حسب پول نقد هزینه شده در ماه ذکر میشود. به عنوان مثال، اگر گفته شود نرخ مصرف سرمایه خودی شرکتی یک میلیون دلار است، یعنی آن شرکت ماهانه یک میلیون دلار هزینه میکند.
Burn Rate
The burn rate is typically used to describe the rate at which a new company is spending its venture capital to finance overhead before generating positive cash flow from operations. It is a measure of negative cash flow. The burn rate is usually quoted in terms of cash spent per month. For example, if a company is said to have a burn rate of $1 million, it would mean that the company is spending $1 million per month.
