بازل سه، مقرراتی بینالمللی و مجموعهای از اصلاحات با هدف کاهش ریسک در بخش بانکداری است که در سال 2009، ارائه شد. براساس مقررات این پیمان، بانکها موظف به رعایت نسبتهای اهرمی مناسب و در اختیار داشتن میزان کافی سرمایه شدند.
