A T-account is an informal term for a set of financial records that uses double-entry bookkeeping. The term describes the appearance of the bookkeeping entries. First, a large letter T is drawn on a page. The title of the account is then entered just above the top horizontal line, while underneath debits are listed on the left and credits are recorded on the right, separated by the vertical line of the letter T.
A T-account is also called a ledger account.
حساب تی، اصطلاحی غیر رسمی برای مجموعه‌ای از سوابق مالی است که از دفترداری دوطرفه استفاده می‌کند. این اصطلاح توصیف کننده ظاهر دفترداری دوطرفه است. ابتدا یک حرف تی ( T ) بزرگ روی صفحه کشیده می‌شود. سپس درست در بالای خط افقی آن، عنوان حساب وارد می‌شود، درحالی‌که اقلام بدهکار در سمت چپ و اقلام بستانکار در سمت راست وارد و با خط عمودی حرف T از هم جدا می‌شوند.
به یک حساب تی، حساب دفتر کل نیز می‌گویند.
